To help you plan your meeting or conference once you have booked a hire date for our meeting/conference venue at Bridge House in Westbury, or are considering doing so, we have put together a list of the questions we are most commonly asked by our hire customers.
We hope these questions cover any extra information you may need after reading through this website. If we’ve left something out, don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask.
No, we are open weekdays only.
Between 8.30am and 5.30pm on weekdays.
You are welcome to book hire time the day before the actual event in order to set up your presentation or course materials (as long as the venue has availability for this). When initially booking the time and date for which you require the venue please factor in any time you may need for preparation, because you need to pay for the time you or your equipment is occupying the space.
No, the building has no lifts so the 4th floor meeting/conference rooms are not suitable for those who cannot climb the stairs.
Yes, as long as you let us know in advance what your special requirements are so that we can instruct our caterers accordingly.
Yes, there is a convenience store with a post office about 400 yards away, and a pub (The Railway Inn) about the same distance in the opposite direction.
Yes. The car park serves the Westbury Industrial Estate, but we are able to allocate the required number of parking bays you will require for the time you are using the venue. There is no charge for parking.
Yes, you can connect to our high-speed Wi-Fi and connect digital audiovisual equipment to the 60” plasma TV screen.
Yes, once you and your delegates are inside the meeting/conference rooms you will not be disturbed, unless you push the call button for assistance. There is no distracting noise penetrating the space from outside.
We accept cancellations 48 hours in advance of your booked date and any payments made will be refunded. Late cancellations may still be charged for.
This is not encouraged, but special arrangements can be made if necessary, so please consult with us at the time of booking.
